The CBSE Class 10 result date and time is likely to be announced soon. However, earlier today a board official sais that the CBSE Class 10th result will not be announced today. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of the cancelled Class 10 exams on the official websites – cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in. Along with the official websites other digital platforms like the DigiLocker website – digilocker.gov.in – and the app will also host the CBSE 10th results. As the exams were cancelled in view of the Covid crisis, the students did not receive any admit cards with their roll numbers and now the board has activated the window to access the roll numbers. The roll numbers will be required to check the results on the result website.
To check roll numbers, students have to login at the cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html portal and insert the login credentials.
Students have taken to social media and asking the Education Minister and the board to announce an update on Class 10th result date.
CBSE on July 30 had declared the Class 12th exam results for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. This year, the CBSE 12th results have been prepared in an alternative way as board exams could not be held this year due to the second wave of Covid pandemic. The board had adopted an alternative assessment scheme to finalise the result.

This year, 99.37 per cent of over 14.30 lakh students have cleared the exam. Continuing with the trend, girls have outshone boys but the margin has been reduced to 0.54 per cent from 5.96 per cent last year. The number of candidates scoring above 95 per cent has also increased from 38,686 last year to 70,004 this year. No merit list has been announced this year.

CBSE Result 2021: Class 12 Result Withheld For 65,000 Students
The wait is not over for nearly 65,000 Class 12 students whose results are yet to be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The board announced the results for class 12 on Friday, however, the scores of 65,184 candidates have been held back. "The result of about 1,060 new schools is still under process as there was no reference year. Hence, the board is looking into the interest of these candidates and their result will be declared latest by August 5," said Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations.

In the CBSE Class 12 results 2020, out of the total 11,92,961 students appeared for the exam, 10,59,080 students qualified for higher education with a pass percentage of 88.78%. A total of 12,03,595 students had registered for CBSE Class 12 annual examinations this year.
This year’s CBSE Class 12 results have an increase of 5.38 per cent from 2019. Last year the pass percentage among girls was 92.15 per cent and among boys it was 86.19 per cent. Girls had done better than boys by 5.96 per cent. The pass percentage among transgender students was 66.67 per cent.

The CBSE Exam Controller informed that the examination board has created a scheme in which it will conduct more than one exam. "We have created a scheme in which we will conduct more than one exam. CBSE did not release a list of toppers after Class 12 results, a trend started by the board in 2020. The decision to not announce names of Class 12 toppers was taken keeping in mind the unprecedented situations students had to face last year.
